FireFire! It is exciting because you are full of life, opinionated, creative, and have a lot of potential. Your heart's full of big dreams It's time to get real with yourself. Instead of thinking about what you want to do in the future, it's time for you to think about what you would like to do right now. For instance, would you like to visit the petting zoo on your next road trip? If so, start your list by heading towards the nearest zoo--if not then don't sweat it! You will still be able to live out your fantasies. As you make your list, make sure to include some things that are realistic, but not necessarily necessary. For instance, if the zoo is only an hour away, grab a few friends and go to the zoo! You may also want to include things that are just for fun--like telling your parents that you want to be a wrestler or learning how to roller skate. Do this for at least one day each week at first since it is good practice. To be successful, you must work hard to make each goal come true. But for now, don't worry about the next goal, but focus on reaching your current goals. For example, if your goal is to visit the petting zoo soon, you must develop the ability to drive there. You can read about autobahn driving or watch youtube videos of it and simulate it in your mind until you get the hang of it. When starting this or any goal of yours, ask yourself: Why? Even if you don't have a good answer for why yet, just start working toward the goal anyways. You also need to find an accountability partner, someone to hold you accountable for your goals. Choose someone you can trust who is interested in goals that are important. Choose wisely because you will need their help throughout your journey. Find someone with whom you can discuss your progress, or perhaps even hang out socially with on Saturdays or every couple of weeks. Having an accountability partner is crucial for achieving your goals--if it weren't, do not worry! There are plenty of people who want to make new friends and be encouraged by others who want the same things they do! If this plan seems too daunting at first, then try starting small. Perhaps you will only want to do one goal at first. Your journey may start with the petting zoo or perhaps something that is close by. You can even do one every week! When you are ready to start, choose a good time such as 2:00 or 3:00 pm on a Saturday or Sunday. Remember to set the date and time for this goal in your calendar so that you can check in regularly on your progress and how you did on achieving your goal. If the trip isn't successful, then just try it again another future date and try something different. cfa1e77820
